I know this is a 2 month old topic, but I've only just signed up for the forum...so here goes with my first 3 HJ gigs:
1. Guildford Civic Hall - December 1983 Ticket was £3.50
2. Southampton Gaumont - March 1984 (Human's Lib tour)
3. Royal Albert Hall - December 1984 (12" Album mini tour). Ticket was a very expensive £7 and support was Strawberry Switchblade !
Still got the tour programmes for 2 and 3.

17th December 1984 - Royal Albert Hall (Strawberry Switchblade support)
1985 (May/June?) - Wembley Arena (Jimmy Jimmy support)
1985 (December?) - Birmingham NEC, Last World Dream (might have been Andy White as support although I may be mistaken)
Lost count of them since then but I was there when he got punched inthe face at the Jazz Cafe. I was at John & Thelma's leaving gig, at the 20th and 25th anniversary gigs and again last Friday among others.

Mine are;
1. Xmas 1984, Hammersmith Odeon - 12" Album Mini-tour (Strawberry Switchblade Support - I went on to buy all their records too!) - incidentally did HJ play Royal Albert Hall on this tour as well as HO?? I remember I went to an afternoon show...
2. Summer 1985, Wembley Arena - Dream Into Action Tour (above suggests Jimmy Jimmy support, is this right?.....I thought they were support for 121 tour or am I getting confused? Certainly 121 tour support was two blokes with guitars...I wasn't impressed but prob. didn't give them a proper chance....I was a teenager!)
3. March 1987, Both nights at Royal Albert Hall - One to One tour.

Hello there , I am from Germany and
I saw Howard twice back in the 80`s . I was a huge fan back then ( still am ) . Back then I always tried to find English Magazines , because the German ones didnt have enough articles ( in my opinion ) about Howard . So I use to be out there looking for international book stores . I even was in the Offical Fan Club .It was always so exciting to get mail from England.
Well anyway my first concert ever and at the same time seeing Howard Jones live was:
Ludwigshafen Germany Südwest Stadion 1984 Open Air with Howard , Depeche Mode , Elton John , Suzanne Vega ....
Second time :
Mannheim Germany "Dream into Action " Tour 1985
Hope to see him live again one day . I live in Berlin now , maybe my chances arent so bad ....
