Hello Howard.
My name is Scott. I could tell you details of how your music has changed my life, inspired me at my best and carried me through rough times, but instead I will just say thank you.
I've been a fan since I was a young teenager in 1984 and I have remained impressed ever since. I was a member of RISK and a poster on the yahoo forum, and I have attended all of your shows in the Philadelphia (US) area in the last 10 years or so. Actually, I think I may have been to all of your shows in my area since 1986 with the exception of the 80's reunion tour in the 90's. Anyway, the recent shows stand out a bit more due to your wonderful meet and greets and the intimate concert atmosphere.
I received my 2010 Digital Remasters set yesterday and I must tell you, it looks beautiful. Somehow I am saving my first listen for this weekend, when I can truly give it a full listen and enjoy the old songs with the new feel. I have already experienced the quality work both you and Robbie put into everything you do and and I can't express how excited I am to hear the remasters and the live bonus tracks.
Howard, thank you. Thank you for everything. Your voice. Your mind. Your compositions. Your outlook on life. Your willingness to share these things. Your dedication to quality in your work for your fans. Thank you for all of it.
-Sincerely,
Scott
