Perhaps a slightly more unusual kind of request for these boards but would anyone out there have sheet music/chord progressions or MIDI notation for Hide and Seek?

I've searched everywhere online for something but all I've managed so far is a bad MIDI notation that's definitely not right and none of the sheet music suppliers seem to have a copy.

If anyone has the sheet music and could perhaps email me a scan, or if anyone could provide accurate MIDI notation or details of chords I'd be very grateful.

I remember having the whole Human's Lib album in sheet music form back in the day (I recall the only part missing was the high "sequencer" line in "Conditioning"). You may get lucky and find this kicking around on ebay.

Failing that, I can still remember the basic chords and lead line, and could put a MIDI file together for you if you wish. I can't guarantee it'll be perfect in terms of the inversions of certain chords, but it will have the right chords in the right place.

Cheers,

Gary.

Are you playing a synthesiser version or th piano version?

Either way, I'm pretty sure it's in D minor so it starts on a Dm chord with the flute motif doing a little run up defga then back down to the d

The song is Dm then C/D Bb/D C/D and Dm again

It doesn't far from these chords and a goes major for the chorus. These are the same chords as "In the air tonight" and "A spaceman came travelling".

I only just joined the message board so I might be way behind the times on some of these.

I have sheet music books for the following Howard Jones albums;
Human's Lib
Dream Into Action
One To One
Cross That Line

After that I'm not sure they were released. As they are copyrighted I can't send a copy but I can tell you some specific info about them if you email me. Don't have them with me at work right now. Cross That Line is amazing if you can get it. Each instrument has it's own score including drums, bass, guitar, and all the various string parts. Full arrangements.

Well lucky you!

I was looking through my boxes in deep storage and found the Humans Lib Sheet Music Book. While I have no desire to sell it, I can certainly scan Hide and Seek and send it to you.

It is copyrighted material, so if the mod of the board suggest sharing is not a good thing, I'll have to adhere to that.
