Dear all

Some of you may know of my 2 and a half year internet campaign to get Howard booked to play the Bestival festival in the Isle of Wight. The campaign failed, but as a result of the campaign I did get to DJ at the festival myself as a Howard Jones tribute DJ, and played to hundreds of people (see the DJ Hojo Hits thread for more information).

Anyway, the campaign to get Howard booked to play a major UK festival continues and I NEED YOU HELP (And I know that Howard and his management would love to play a festival such as Bestival.)

I am about to start a campaign to get Howard booked to play Bestivals smaller 10,000 capacity sister festival Camp Bestival, which is held at Lulworth in Dorset. This campaign will take a variety of forms but I need your help on the internet.

This is what you need to do.

1. Log onto the Camp Bestival website using this link http://www.campbestival.net

2. Click on the forum.

3. Register on the forum (You just need to give an email and make a forum name up)

4. Wait until the 11th October. On this date I will post up a thread entitled "The campaign for HoJo at Camp B" . Have a look at it and then post something up supporting the campaign.

5. Keep checking back to the forum weekly and adding further comments (but don't mention the fact that you came from the Hojo forum...) to keep the campaign going.

6. If you are on facebook (I'm not) twitter, myspace, bebo etc encourage other Hojo Fans to join the campaign and keep the train rolling.

7. Rob Da Bank will (hopefully) be convinced and book Howard to play Bestival (he reads the forums and posts regularly himself, and does take note of what people are saying)
