Hi Howard

We just wanted to say thank you for last night in Cardiff. We were there celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and what a way to celebrate. The new album is incredible and reinforces our view that you are one of the great songwriters of our time. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes

Darren & Sandra Matthews

Hi Howard,

Last night in Cardiff was fantastic, Your appreciation of that fantastic choir after "Soon You'll Go" was great to see.
In fact as you know I have seen you many times and I think thats the happiest I've seen you both during the gig and aferwards.
Sorry I didnt get the chance to speak to you
(You must have been gutted !) Lol,
and I hope you appreciated the Gift from North of the border and hopefully see you and the gang up here again very soon.

Take care & good luck,

Stuart Bailey
(Glasgow)
ps. Please pass on best wishes to Thelma and wish her a speedy recovery.

The Cardiff gig must have been amazing, making Howard's Top 3 best gigs ever. Was the concert being filmed?

Tremendous show, having the Morriston Orpheus Choir accompanying you was the cherry on the icing on the cake!

Hope you come back to Cardiff soon, would love to see you again in one of those more intimate, more acoustic shows such as you did in Bath a few years ago.

Thank you for a great evening.

I won my VIP tickets to Cardiff via your myspace page and it was well worth it.

My friend and I had a great time and enjoyed the Morriston Orpheus Choir's impromptu performance at the after show party with you joining in.

I had the same problem as you had getting home in that atrocious weather and thought at one stage I had been flashed by a speed camera, when it turned out to be lightening!

Hope you are enjoying your rest after the premiere shows.

All the best:)

Re Weather conditions ~

How do you think I felt flying up to Glasgow at lunchtime on Sat in a small twin prop aeroplane.

Bumpy is an understatement !

I was tempted to get a later flight and stay to watch the Scotland game but after the 3-0 defeat there I'm glad that I didn't and the plane journey wasn't that bad after all !.

Loads of pics of the VIP aftershow party in Cardiff on my Bebo page.

My name to search for is "Bailster2008"

I met so many people from yesteryear that night I have forgotten most of your names, so feel free to add a comment and your name to help me out.
