Hi Howard,
I was a big fan in the 80's early 90's. Full HJ music collection, hair style etc

Over the last decade, I pretty much lost my way musically, listening to a bunch of trance and other dance music. That was until I came across a clip on youtube from NAM 2008, where you played Look Mama on the Fantom G8.
That was it, I was hooked again !
Except this time I really wanted to learn to play. So I've invested in a Fantom G8, expanded it, built a DAW, installed Ableton 8 and a bunch of classic VST synths (Jupiter 8, Juno 60, various Moogs, ARP, CS80v etc.)
I'm now spending all my free time learning to play the lead keyboard parts and using midi files for the backing, plus building my own patches and multisampling.
So i have one question please

I've spent the weekend trying to recreate the lead synth sound at the start of Look Mama from the clip on youtube. I've tried using only the Fantom G laying sounds in live mode, but its just not sounding right.
The more I listen to the VST Jupiter 8V sound, the more I'm thinking i need to resample this...
Any tips please ?
I can't believe I just missed the event at the O2 with the Fantom G, so i've just purchased your new remastered box sets to tie me over until the next event !
Anyway, thank you Howard for a lifetime of outstanding music. I've never managed to get to a concert in the 80's but certainly will be going next time you tour in London.
All the best
Dan
