Following on from the recent release of the Digital Remaster of Humans Lib / Dream Into Action, dtox are pleased to announce that the next remasters will be The 12" Album with Action Replay and an 11 track bonus CD featuring extended and remixed tracks from 1983 - 1985 including tracks that have never been released before.

All 3 CD's have been remastered by Robbie Bronnimann at Robot Studios and overseen by Howard himself.
The Bonus CD was compiled by Glenn Kelly, who also provides sleeve commentary on the tracks, with insights from Robbie Bronnimann, Stephen W. Tayler and Phil Collins.

The individually numbered Limited Edition Box set will be available as a pre order on Feb 21st with a scheduled release date of March 21st 2011 exclusively at the Howard Jones shop at http://shop.howardjones.com

Not had a turntable for over 10 years so all my old 12" Singles are in the loft so will be amazing to get some of the HOWxT tracks on CD, and lovingly remastered to boot, bring it on.

Well, well finally the tracklist for the second box set and it is GREAT can´t wait for it, fantastic work howard, robbie and glenn. Howard please come to Sweden this year, I was at the o2 in november outstanding looking forward to the dvd of that show. Take care J.G.

looks likely to be £25.62 ( due to VAT increase)
which in the greater scheme of things is really good - £8.54 per CD! ( plus postage of course)

Few questions about the set:

1. Can it be assumed that the version of "Total Conditioning" on 12" Album is the same minute-shorter version than originally appeared on vinyl?

2. Without track lengths posted, I'm curious about the two other versions of New Song on the bonus disc. Is the New Version different from the Extended Version? And where does the Alternative Extended Mix come from?

3. Will remixes of "You Know I Love You", "All I Want" and "Everlasting Love" show up as a bonus disc when One To One and Cross That Line are remastered, or are there alternate plans? Does it depend on how well these sets sell?

Thanks for any info you can provide. Today's my birthday so I'm getting this set as a present to myself.

All tracks on the albums are the exact same versions. We have not changed anything on the albums in terms of tracks - or lengths. These come direct from the master tapes used to create the original versions back in the 80's



New Song ( New Version) appeared on the 12" album. It is very different to the Extended version released as New Song on 12" ( HOW1T)

The Alternative Mix of New Song was a mix by Colin Thurston that was never released.

Full information will be included in the sleeve notes in the box set.



We will only be adding bonus material that is pertinent to the era of the albums, so yes, they will appear.

The albums will be available individually as are Humans Lib and Dream Into Action on the howardjopnes shop - however the bonus CD is just that - a bonus CD to the boxset and will not be sold separately.

So basically if you want the bonus disc you will have to buy it from the shop here and it's looking unlikely that the individual albums are going to be available through amazon and the likes in the near future so you if you want them you will need to buy them here as well.
