It's all gone so quiet! I miss the days of HoJoTalk where people would email thoughts about Howard etc etc. Seems we have more technology at our fingertips but are saying less with it. I wonder if Howard actually reads this "Message to Howard" section? I have seen a few posts from Robbie which is great and really appreciated but none from Howard. HoJo Twitter has gone almost silent and the latest news section on the website was last updated on 31st December.

There's only two bits of news that I could find:

First is from Robbie's blog on his myspace. Howard has been recording some additional material for the Japanese release of "Ordinary Heroes".

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse ... =526295981

The other news is of a live date at the Let's Rock The Moor! Festival on the 22nd May - This is mentioned on Nick Heyward's website.

http://nickheyward.com/appearances/

I also agree that there doesn't seem to be much happening at the moment and the websites are very quiet. Hopefully there's a lot happening behind the scenes (like remastering the back catalogue and organising some concerts for the coming year - I hope!)

Dan

That's just great. Did I not pay enough for the special edition version of Ordinary Heroes? Now there are going to be bonus tracks that I'd be expected to shell out more to get hold of. I don't suppose for one moment those of us who stumped up the cash are going to get something along the lines of a special access code to a site page where we can get discounted or free official downloads of those extra tracks which would be the decent thing to do.

It annoys me because I choose to pay and support my favourite artists, Howard included, by only purchasing original material when I could quite easily download the same music for free from a torrent site. When something like this happens (as it did with Live Acoustic America, The Peaceful Tour, Revolution Of The Heart) it makes me wonder if I should bother next time.

I hate to have to post a negative comment but this really gets my goat. Rant over.

Hello!
We are pleased to announce the return of Glenn Kelly to the HoJo camp. Many of you will know Glenn from his work running Howard's websites and mailing lists etc for the past 10 years, and he returns after taking a sabbatical year.
Glenn says: " I'm so pleased to be back working with Howard and everyone at FML, and to work again for the fans, who love Howard's much as musch as I do. I'm looking forward to bringing the HoJo Community together again by re introducing the Official Howard Jones Email Discussion List - HoJo Talk, which will run in parallell with the online forum. It's also great to be back working with my friend Howard, and we will be working on bringing you the remasters projects later this year. There is a lot of work to do, and I can't wait to get started..."

We would like to thank Steve Cripps for looking after things, and Steve will still be involved in other design projects for us.

Glenn - when we met in person at the O2 in November I told you that you were the best thing for Howard and the fans! You do great work and I am very happy to see you back! Good move on both sides to get it all back together!

Hi Glenn, as the originator of this topic, I couldn't be happier! I do feel that Howard needs someone like you to bring all his diverse projects together and to get them "out there"........ Without you there would be a danger that we would miss all the great things HoJo is upto.

Kind regards.

Steve,
